Mohamed Ariff, 27, could assist police in their investigations. </p><p> It is learnt that Shahabudin was detained three years ago in relation to a gang-rape case but was released because of insufficient evidence. </p><p> There has also been a spate of carjacking in the city. On Sunday a manager of an engineering firm was taken on a terror ride lasting almost two hours when he was carjacked by three robbers. </p><p> However, the robbers returned his MyKad and mobile phone SIM card, and even gave him RM30 for a taxi ride. </p><p> In May, a woman was held up at knife-point and taken on a terror ride, gang-raped and robbed.
